I found this free player called Leawo that seems to be good enough for what I need. I am looking into a Blu-Ray setup and doing some player research before making a final decision of buying a drive. If this was the case I would be perfectly happy to buy there software. A (large) handful of questions about Leawo Blu-ray Player. In my opinion it would be more sensible if they connected the software license to the computer ID/ Serial like a lot of other software does. You can customize the disc menu before you burn your files to discs or convert them to a Blu-ray/DVD folder or ISO file. I also run multiple OSX versions on the 1 computer and would require a new license for each version of OSX despite being the same computer. My computer is a family computer and I don't wish to buy multiple licenses to install the same software on the 1 computer. I know macgo bluray player is commonly used however I don't like the fact you can only install the player for 1 user on the computer. Although Leawo Blu-ray player has so many useful features, every coin has two sides, so does it.
Part 2: Pros and Cons of Leawo blu ray player. I have got the latest version of the software and have tried it on OSX 10.9.5 and OSX 10.6.8 Besides the user-friendly media playback control on the interface, it also supports virtual remote control of disc menu. I have tried it on Imac 9,1 and Macbook 7,1. The Windows version (running on the same Imac) works flawlessly. Has anyone else tried this software on mac and if so have you got it to work?ĭoes anyone have any ideas why this might be happening and possible solutions? I have tried contacting support but this has not got any closer to resolving the issue. The interface shows that I have a Blu-ray disc player, but when I click on it and try to open, the drive ejects and I get a message to load a disc. However, when I try to play discs, Leawo doesnt recognize them.

I have downloaded Leawo BluRay player for mac but the playback freezes constantly to the point it is frozen most of the time. It loads fine, and I have used a Blu-Ray ripper program to put some video on my hard drive. Ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling the player several times, but it didnt fix the problem. Both computers are using the most recent version and both are Windows 10. Theyre still there on my other computer, but not on my laptop.
